A little history;
Saint-Paul-d'Abbottsford is a village located southwest of Mont Yamaska (416 m), at the foot of what is one of the nine Monteregian hills, located east of Mont Rougemont. It is located in the sub-basin of the Yamaska Lowlands River and in a minority in the sub-basin of the Black River.
Mount Yamaska occupies the north of the territory of the municipality. Almost circular in shape, it is covered with a forest composed mainly of maple trees. The forest takes on remarkable colors in autumn. All around, there are only huge cultivated plots, many of which are apple orchards. Saint-Paul's main attraction is Mount Yamaska, a Monteregian hill that attracts cyclists and hang-gliding enthusiasts.
