The good heritage value of this house is based on its position, its architectural style and its authenticity. Erected around 1900 in the village center of Adamsville, it was, from 1926, next to the presbytery and the Catholic Church which were established next door. A magnificent barn-stable with a broken wooden roof is located behind and completes the harmonious whole. The residence is representative of American vernacular architecture which gradually replaced the traditional Quebecois house in the 19th century. More precisely, it is a variant of neo-Gothic inspiration which is reflected here in the presence of a central gable dormer. This type of house is a frequent model in Bromont.
